Membership Information
Membership
In 2006, the Air Force Association (AFA) as an organization took on a major transformation in becoming a “501 3c” organization. AFA membership with “all the benefits” was previously restricted to members who had served in our military or government civil service. Today, general membership is open to anyone who would like to join and all AFA members get nearly all the AFA benefits afforded our military and civil servant members. This is a great opportunity for our chapter to open its doors to the community that we serve and provide them the opportunity to join and participate in one of AFA National’s largest and most active chapters. Given our proximity to Wright Patterson AFB and the immense government population, we have the unique opportunity to touch tens of thousands of people that directly benefit from the USAF.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our VP of Membership.
Individual Membership
If you are a current individual member and are looking for ways to get involved, send us a note to inquire about how to get involved.
If you are not a member and would like to join, let us make it easy on you. Go to the web site listed below and you will be led through the process of joining the AFA. We strongly encourage you to consider the Life Membership. The AFA makes it easy and spreads the payments over eight quarters (i.e., two years). Remember to select “Chapter 212” as your chapter of choice. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you at many AFA functions!
Community Partner Program
We are fortunate to have a thriving individual membership program that is complemented by a very strong Community Partner (CP) program. The CP program provides an opportunity for local businesses to support our local chapter. Every business participating in the CP program receives two complimentary memberships for their employees and they in turn receive the benefits associated with being a member of the AFA.
