Government Relations
Responsibilities
The first responsibility of the AFA Wright Memorial Chapter's Vice President
for Government Relations is to maintain a close liaison with the Government
Relations Office at AFA National Headquarters and also an effective liaison with
local government organizations (WPAFB, Springfield Air National Guard, the Air
Force Reserve unit at WPAFB, the Dayton Development Coalition, and the Military
Affairs Committee of the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce).
Another responsibility is to develop a liaison with the U.S.
Representative/Senators and their local staffs. Forwarding current legislative news
to WMC members and responding to AFA "Call to Action" requests is
