Cyber Warriors Accelerator is a collaborative effort spearheaded by the Dayton Development Coalition and The Entrepreneurs Center. Their mission is to promote innovation and leadership in Cyber Threat Detection in order to protect the nation’s critical infrastructure, while creating economic development strength for the Dayton Region. The program will prepare the Cyber Warriors in all aspects of running a business, i.e., discovering their market, creating a business case, planning the finances, implementing commercialization, and pitching to venture capitalists, contractors, small business innovation research representatives.

AFA Wright Memorial Chapter provides $10,000 donation to the Fisher House to put the capitol campaign over the required $1 Million mark. The Chapter made a $10,000 donation at the kick-off of the capitol campaign, in Dec 2007, and now provides the needed funding to complete the campaign. The check was presented to Wright-Patterson Fisher House Executive Director Chris Stanley at the Wright Memorial Chapter’s monthly luncheon. See story/video on WTDN website.

The Wright Memorial Chapter, Air Force Association has completed the replacement of all ground level installed pavers. Ground level pavers are now a far superior granite product compared to the deteriorated original bricks. Fund raising continues. The AFA and the Air Force Sergeants Association (AFSA) will jointly sponsor a summer picnic for the veterans at the Dayton VA Medical Center on Sat, 2 June 2012. The volunteers will hold the picnic at Lakeside Manor and will serve food from 1100 to 1400.  For more information please contact George Simons at 937-429-9466.

The eighth annual Freedom's Call 2012 on Friday, June 29, will recognize the contributions of our military veterans, their families and all Americans who support them with a spectacular presentation of flyovers, music, narration and fireworks. The Air Force Materiel Command Tattoo is an annual event hosted by AFMC and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
